i have a “zip” theory for this: if you do life right, you should get a feeling that you’re zipping through a bunch of things smoothly from your death bed.

Every single event in your life leading to any sort of creative act would’ve been part of a bigger web that you’ve been mindfully netting all along. The satisfaction that should come from that would make life well worth it pain and suffering included, as any one of such events would’ve ideally led to the “zip” conclusion at the very end.
