This lovely comment from @chriscocreated makes me wish for more sustainable ways to fund, organize, + preserve thoughtful curation work done by *humans* (not algos) in the FC ecosystem. 

Psychologically, the hardest thing about casting for me is that all my casts vanish into the algo-driven "exhaust stream," never to be seen or commented on again. 

I could compile topic-specific best-of recs such as @cameron's canonical advice-for-newbies article on a website (if I had sufficient funding for that work), but discovery would still be a problem.

There's value leak happening here because there's no viable "slowcore" + positive-sum path (AFAIK) to leverage the power of compounding for previous curation work.

What if I had a space to curate custom selections of great work in ways that:

1) reduce existing cognitive load for the curator (or at least don't *add* to it), and
2) maximize chances of discovery by interested readers at their leisure?

I know there are gigabrains working on this. Just thinking aloud.

So what are our best tools for curating and archiving FC content?

That would make my Farcaster experience so much better!

I’m hoping that’s a level of maturity we reach before too long. 

Along with an algo switch to cycle through different streams of curated accounts: visual inspiration, slow thinkers, fun, etc.

I wanted to create something like this, maybe I should pick it up again
