my two cents and in-good-faith interpretation of "not enough interesting content": @dwr.eth DOES NOT mean that current users aren't interesting enough @dwr.eth DOES mean that there are not enough of us so that the supply of interesting content on warpcast simply cannot compete with the supply on other platforms

I think content is the secondary reason people come here. I don’t come here for content. I come here for people. Warpcast should be focusing more on social networking and less on social media imo. I don’t go to Facebook for content either. But I still use it everyday.

I agree, it is tricky bc a) content creators need an audience to perform for, and b) the audience (who are not content creators and are here to vibe) are placed in hidden replies which make for a poor onboarding experience what if users can self-tag what their goals are (content creating vs vibing) and be judged on different algos? this can separate social media vs social network intents and allow for differentiated experiences that serve both camps.

💯 One algo to fit them all leads to it fitting nobody. One person's spam is another person's vibe. Real eager new (and old) users becoming hidden is very demotivating.
