my two cents and in-good-faith interpretation of "not enough interesting content": @dwr.eth DOES NOT mean that current users aren't interesting enough @dwr.eth DOES mean that there are not enough of us so that the supply of interesting content on warpcast simply cannot compete with the supply on other platforms

Yes, should have been more specific. So that's on me. One way to model a good portion of my casts are they are sent between chasing my children around the house (trying to prevent further "creative" destruction).

I know for a fact that heaps of artists left because they’d get next to no interaction on their casts. If FC wants artists to come back, they need to up their visibility. Artists are great users because they show up everyday and cast a lot of quality work.

One reason for lack of interesting content is that a lot of group discussions have moved to DCs. With the new channels direction, maybe more of those convos will happen out in public.

I think content is the secondary reason people come here. I don’t come here for content. I come here for people. Warpcast should be focusing more on social networking and less on social media imo. I don’t go to Facebook for content either. But I still use it everyday.

If that's true, why don't I spend any significant time on other platforms anymore? There's more than enough things that interest me here - I found more things today. But I came here for the people (thanks, @statuette) - and I've stayed for them. A lot of the folks I used to interact with on Twitter? They're here, too. What is it Dan thinks we're lacking? Celebrity drama? Trench snuff videos from Ukraine? Red hat/Blue hat rage fests? Fake news? I'm happy I DON'T see that stuff here. I get cats, memes, poetry, philosophy, reading reccos, art, photos, a flawed-but-trying-and-iteratively-evolving micropayment ecosystem... that's plenty of content for me. @maretus nailed it - it's not the content; it's the current lopsided class structure Just my 200 $DEGEN 🙂

Why repeat it over and over again? The phrase hurts current users because it generates confusion. If I read it every day i will end thinking that what I contribute here is unworthy. If the intention is your second point, Wouldn't it be better to rephrase the phrase?

I’d like to have some incentives to bring more frens and clients here starting with a farcaster.xyz that explains in 10 secs what it is and why bother. Website doesn’t even say “decentralised social network” it is a useless inbound asset I lost two potential power users at that UX gate two people who trust me
