Do you use any energy gardening techniques? I just got Charles Dowding's new booklet on the topic. His garden is super productive, lush and brilliant. Charles uses many smart techniques like no dig, which he is well known for, but apparently he has some other interesting tricks that I'm curious to learn.

Charles himself said it took him years to feel "brave" enough to put some of those techniques to use. I'm feeling quite brave at the moment, will report back.

I loved his take on "green thumb". In my view it's not just "wishful thinking" alone, but rather being open and attuned, sensing what you can do.

💯 I remember a discussion with a friend, about how the wines who won awards were mostly grown with biodynamic techniques, he was saying those were bs and he would refuse to buy the wine lol.

Anyone willing to run a biodynamic operation has immense care for the land and plants, also: the wine is outstanding! 🥂

I like that too! It makes sense. The greenest phalangied friends I've had all had an immense care and awareness for plants and how they reacted in their environments.
