I've never used Figma. Am I missing out?

We're a team of 3 @paragraph and don't yet have any robust design system; but Tailwind and our internal reusable components have let us go far and ship quickly.

It's a design tool. You don't need it if you're not a product designer, if you use tailwind it will get you off the ground till you can hire a designer. Focus on the UX and draw with boxes (FigJam/Miro/Freeform/etc) and match it with components.
