Are there any DeFi apps out there targeting non crypto native folks? something that has DeFi under the hood, but looks and feels like a non crypto app?

Is there an app though where non crypto native folks can easily access these things? As in regular app in the front, DeFi under the hood and uses non crypto language? I love all the things listed but no one outside of crypto really understands these terms let alone how to access them

I think a lot of people globally have a lot of exposure to all of the above, and I think your sentiment does not at all reflect reality well. You may not see it, or you may not like it, but there is a lot happening everywhere you look. Millions of individuals across the global south use Stablecoins on a daily basis. Whether they save in US Dollars or do commerce online. If you do not live in e.g. Argentina or Turkey you do not see this activity. We just came out of the US Election in which Polymarket was front and center all around the civilized world, enabled by Ethereum. The city of Buenos Aires has rolled out digital identities using zero-knowledge proof technology to all of its roughly 3.6 million citizens, enabled by Ethereum. I wrote about this in https://powerlaw.systems/memo-w43-oct-2024. The list goes on and on.

I know all of the things to be true and agree with you fully! I think my question is getting lost in translation. For context I’m in Canada and asking more if there are easy to use apps that might use say pool togethers no loss lottery savings under the hood, in a fun wealthsimple like app. I work in the stablecoin market and am thankful people use the things you’ve mentioned everyday through easy to use apps so not saying they’re not important. I also personally use crypto credits cards etc Just wanting actual apps names so I can check them out and play with them / share them with friends is all!

I read through the article as well - my post isn’t a dunk on their being no apps I just actually want to know what apps people like using that are less crypto native focused to play with and try out for myself for fun I use crypto apps all the time and think we’ve got really great ones! Just curious about less crypto native ones is all
