I agree that everyone forges their own path. I would never trade in my time and effort for a low ROI. Personally, I just can’t visualize positive impact I’ll bring to the world through consulting or investment banking. What would Napoleon, the Founding Fathers, or even Elon say about this?

I worked in consulting for 2 years. Fred Ehrsam worked in banking. It’s good training. ymmv

Agree. I worked in investment banking and trading early on. Very competitive and sets you up well. But would not recommend sticking around too long.
