I would love feedback on a concept @six and I have been working on: Propstreams, an upgrade to the current Nouns streaming infrastructure. 

We're hoping this can be the next chapter of contributor payment infrastructure in Nouns and be part of an all-in-one hub with Propdates as well.

there's a risk that adding friction to streams would actually discourage people from wanting to use them. I think we're still at the phase where we need to encourage proposers to use streams.

it will need a cultural shift to incentivize streams at the social layer. the parallel i look to is multisigs; creating a multisig is friction for a prop, but people do it because they know the prop will be defeated if they don't

some of the multi-sigs have been symbolic at best. normalizing payment streams and building a robust smart contract infrastructure around it seems wise

yeah, the underlying behavior is just the same: up to the proposer to choose how they want to get paid, but they are beholden to the DAO which can establish what methods it wants to incentivize, with voting and funding behavior
