nounswap (and etherscan donation) are the first to earn client incentives from the auction 👏 https://etherscan.io/tx/0x198662f536403e14c3540e42d0e6b9b44566a47806c72885b1ee53766ff29fff

Proposal 536 (nouns fungible token) didn't pass, but we're releasing the code for anyone to use or modify. We also deployed the factory contract to sepolia & mainnet (addresses in the README). The code is pretty simple, but hasn't been audited. https://github.com/verbsteam/nouns-erc20

Nouns Auction House contract now keeps a history of the winning bids and addresses. Relevant functions are getPrices, getSettlements & getSettlementsFromIdToTimestamp. This opens up some new onchain usecases, e.g. do something related to the avg of the last 7 auction prices

Is there an implementation for a diamond proxy with a fallback to an EIP1967 proxy implementation? Would rather reuse than build from scratch

hey @voadz prop 472 can't queue because of an annoying limitation of the timelock. it can't have 2 actions queued with the same execution date. actions 2 & 5 both wrap 21 ETH into WETH and so it fails. unfortunately you'll have to repropose. you can change action 2 to wrap 42 ETH and remove action 5.

more on % exit: isn't there a fundamental problem with 2 nouns having same voting power but potentially very different exposure? eventually nouns with low exposure are incentivized to spend more or even rug? wdyt @w-g

some thoughts on % exit: if every dao spend proportionally reduces the exit value, sounds rational to exit before a large spend and rejoin after. perhaps difficult if holding many nouns, but makes sense if only holding one? assuming the dao has no significant income (like today). wdyt @w-g

Looking for feedback on a model for protocol rewards compensation. V1 will reward for proposals, voting & auction bids. The model shows which knobs the DAO has and how that translates into the comp that a clients can get Is something unclear? Do you suggestions for improvement? https://tinyurl.com/rewards-model

new idea: trigger burn before a fork is executed. whenever a fork is executed, first burnExcessETH is called @wilsoncusack wdyt?

This is similar to my current concerns with the burn: Thought exercise, if fork threshold was 1 noun, i.e. vanilla RQ, then the burn wouldn't do much because auction prices would stay pretty close to BV. https://warpcast.com/wilsoncusack/0xad062676

We (@el4d & I) wrote a post on how to incentivize development & maintenance of third party frontends for Nouns TLDR: the DAO would for usage, which is determined by calls to smart contracts. In the post we go over: - how to mitigate abuse risk - potential options for payout - technical considerations (link below)
