does anyone else not like being called ser by strangers on the internet. i’m kinda ok if my friends use it to address me once in a while but absolutely not when strangers do it.

I'm cis male and it broke my brain a little the first time someone addressed me that way.

Not because of the gendering, but the implied pronunciation felt like I had stepped into someone's colonialist fantasy? Like this person was roleplaying an Indian manservant addressing his British master?
