i’m generally pretty acoustic-proof to these kind of things, but i’m having a hard time coming to terms with this one specifically because i didn’t do anything wrong & there was nothing i could have done to change her mind (not that i would want to, knowing what i know now) all i did was start a company. its obvious that i have no control over my parents money & it’s wild to hold that against someone despite her endless flaws, i gave her everything unconditionally & always took her at face value, yet somehow i lose her to a (current) conditional clause something something about supporting someone when they’re not at their best, so you can deserve them when they are and fwiw, my current financial situation is not by any means struggling so i just can’t place what this was all about… dodged a bullet, i suppose… onward

do you see yourself marrying her? If so, propose.. Sounds like between you pursuing your dreams and her having no ring - she probably feels like her future is uncertain with you. A ring lets her know you’re certain about her.
