spent the weekend with my granddad, he is 85 now and got married at 25 he started the family in a poor, socialist country, in a depth of the cold war, with no real career prospects or financial security average 25 year old men these days are 10x better off and don’t even consider starting families feels backwards

This is common is our country. My grandfather was married at 22 and my father was at 24. I also married at 27. Wdyt is it better or not?

I think marriage is necessary for capable people as soon as they have the age. You can enjoy your married life, can give a lot of times to your family and kinds. You can see them to grow and enjoy their success. And also you can spend you time with your grandchildrens. How your grandparents spend time with you.

In my case i was not so much financially healty to get married but i can afford it. My father had a brain stroke, and I was pressured into marriage. So I had to get married and I got married to the girl of my choice. But now I am happy with life after marriage. Although there is a lot of pressure to bear from the family. Because we have a joint family here, I have to take responsibility for everything. Because I am the only son.
