there is definitely levels to this game (east coast >> europe > india)

this is not a hate towards people moving to sf, i’d probably do it if i had a choice, given i’m young and have plenty of time to build family in poland

the cast is for people who treat having family like something secondary to the grind in us

eh, plenty of east coasters move to SF. Being away from family is hard (granted a flight to the East Coast is easier than Europe).

Moving to SF allows for a default baseline of work focus that no other city in the US (if, the world) offers. And I say this as someone who moved after nearly a decade in SF.
