Good question - ignoring for a moment that this double counts the LSTs’ own TVL, wouldn’t EigenLayer’s TVL be its value in the form of security it provides to the other chains? Just like the beacon chain for Ethereum.

yes, afaik all eth deposited to eigenlayer can be used to validate AVSs

IIRC switching your stake to the eigenlayer withdraw contract does not immediately commit your entire stake to being slashed. That just gives you a balance that you can use to provide re-staked liquidity (also it was capped to some amount when I last looked, like 50% or somesuch, to avoid double-dipping).
