The power of AI in music is a double-edged sword. We've seen this recently with the lawsuits against AI platforms Sudo and Udio. 🎧 For Consumers: 👉 Personalized Playlists: Spotify has already introduced this...but for me, it's pretty hit and miss. 👉 Non-musical people can get a taste of creating music. 👉 Privacy Concerns. 👉 Homogenization of Music: Over-reliance on algorithms might lead to a homogenized music landscape. 🎸 For the Industry: 👉 Efficient Production and collaboration. 👉 Data-Driven Insights. 👉 Ethical Issues: The use of AI in creating music raises questions about authorship and originality. 👉 Dependency on Technology: Over-reliance on AI might stifle human creativity. The above just scratches the surface of what's to come. For me, this is a new era for music, just like when streaming entered the market. What Do You Think? 🤔 Bit of a long post, this! 🤣

Excellent post! Lots of great insights. For me the problem isn’t the tech itself. As usual it’s the people developing it. Right now those people are laser-focused on turning “music creation” into an efficient profit-generation machine. Not tools for creation assistance by people.
