The power of AI in music is a double-edged sword. We've seen this recently with the lawsuits against AI platforms Sudo and Udio. π§ For Consumers: π Personalized Playlists: Spotify has already introduced this...but for me, it's pretty hit and miss. π Non-musical people can get a taste of creating music. π Privacy Concerns. π Homogenization of Music: Over-reliance on algorithms might lead to a homogenized music landscape. πΈ For the Industry: π Efficient Production and collaboration. π Data-Driven Insights. π Ethical Issues: The use of AI in creating music raises questions about authorship and originality. π Dependency on Technology: Over-reliance on AI might stifle human creativity. The above just scratches the surface of what's to come. For me, this is a new era for music, just like when streaming entered the market. What Do You Think? π€ Bit of a long post, this! π€£

Excellent post! Lots of great insights. For me the problem isnβt the tech itself. As usual itβs the people developing it. Right now those people are laser-focused on turning βmusic creationβ into an efficient profit-generation machine. Not tools for creation assistance by people.
