This is what I have achieved so far in the cold UK! The bananas are wrapped in situ through the winter, and most of the other plants are protected with mulch if needed. The super tender plants are brought into the polytunnel. This photo was from September 2023. What are you growing?!

Wow, where abouts in the UK give or take? Those are some pretty phenomenal bananas. I'm on the east coast and managed to keep things going but only by creating some fleece monstrosity my wife hatesπ€£. Will post a pic of my best achievement shortly but I have to find it first!

Hey! Norfolk :) Mine are kinda hiding behind the tree ferns when wrapped, but still looks a bit messy (like the rest of the garden at this time of year) but it's well worth it by the time summer rolls round and we have these beasts growing tall!
