I’m sorry I don’t understand—does the user still have to sign up for Coinbase, fund a wallet with the requisite currency, etc.? 

For context, I’m not new (to crypto/CB/smart wallet) but I cultivate an audience of learners at all exp levels. I’d like to be able to explain this to them and it’s unclear.

Thanks for the explainer—I’m not sure I understand though, does Coinbase have any customers who aren’t using funds onchain? Like, isn’t that the Coinbase product? Access to crypto + apps & services?

In other words, is there a Coinbase customer who isn’t a crypto holder already?
