Runners - we have a small community here so I'd love to hear each of your craziest running story - could be weirdest / hardest experience etc! I can go first - I ended up running 100 miles with just a backpack and no support team in 19 hours in the British countryside during Covid. Story below! Cont...

I was in the best running shape of my life and wanted to do a challenge that was outside my comfort zone because... Cont...

One day in August, I got a train to Oxford wearing the clothes I’d run back in and stayed overnight in a hotel, then run back in the morning. I finished the 100 miles at ~3am in the middle of nowhere outside of London and just stopped and ordered an Uber home. 🤣 Okay - now who is next?!

First ultra, Comrades in S Africa. Ended up in the emergency room after being attacked by a wild animal the day before. Survived (obviously). Never ran more than 26.2M until then, crossed the half way point at exactly 4.5 hours, and negative split for the Bill Rowan medal (<9 hours).
