I can go first - I ended up running 100 miles with just a backpack and no support team in 19 hours in the British countryside during Covid. Story below!

I started running in March 2020 (I was going insane in lockdown) then signed up for this 4-day 184 mile race called the Thames Challenge in Aug 2020. 2 weeks before the race it gets cancelled.

One day in August, I got a train to Oxford wearing the clothes I’d run back in and stayed overnight in a hotel, then run back in the morning.

I finished the 100 miles at ~3am in the middle of nowhere outside of London and just stopped and ordered an Uber home. 🤣 

Okay - now who is next?!

I was planning to change career and become an entrepreneur so I wanted to make a habit out of pushing my limits.

The course was well marked and pretty flat, so I decided to run 100 miles of that same race on my own.
