Just got myself a weighted vest after incorporating walks into my fitness routine/lifestyle a couple years back. The best fitness hack I slept on far too long.

Hard to say body comp wise as I haven't gotten a DEXA before and after, but along with fasting (Both IF & EF) and cycling in a carnivore diet last month, I dropped 7-8 lbs and the trail/route I've been walking went from pretty damn difficult with the vest to moderately simple.
