finally tried these big big pancakes they make here in Japan. these ones have ricotta cheese whipped up into a meringue in the batter. super delicious. as somebody who's not normally a pancake fan, I found it's quite wonderful served with a side salad and a potato, bacon and egg gratin yum (!!!)
