here is one thing i designed this week for /icebreaker it's one of the most glorious components i've made. we are adding hypernetwork capabilities in the coming weeks, starting with Farcaster so want to indicate that on the network chip at all locations in the app this component allows easy configuration of the many states the chip can exist in. the mock here shows the subcomponents, and on the right you can see the Booleans & Nested instance controls i will be reusing this heavily in mocks so great to take the extra time to componentize here before moving forward. this is actually now really easy compared to how it used to be thanks to nested variants :) have a great weekend, designoooors!

seems like a well thought out component would you actually want to show this many icons all the time? and especially wondering if it's useful in a tiny card like this I think it'd be expected you can find some social links on the full page and do you really care which social it is as long as you can reach out?

The significance of these chips is not that they are on the user’s profile. It is to reflect that you are actually partially or fully connected to that person on that channel Eg full farcaster chip + poap = you follow each other on farcaster and share a poap Very helpful for instant sense of connectedness

oh that’s much deeper than I thought! in that case those may not be doing great at communicating that I think I’d be looking at those connections first even, and go further to pull the actual event title of that poap really like the idea though

It’s a new pattern, for sure Some users will understand from the tooltip, some users won’t understand until they experience the pattern for a while, and some users may never understand, that’s fine. Just like you don’t have to understand all the acronyms on a baseball card or stock to like it. Good patterns can sneak up on you

Really love the POAP integration Dan! Would love to one day connect travelers who visit the same landmark and collect its POAP. (through our app)
