Spent a while at Google reflecting on why some gigabrains totally miss the boat on crypto.

Think it's often unconscious intellectual elitism bc they see the moonbois screaming "crypto!" and assume shoeshine boy indicator.

Really it's a lazy heuristic assuming presence of noise = absence of signal.

A lot of smart people start out disliking crypto because their initial interactions are with scammers (twitter bots, spam comments, scam DMs etc) and without any further research, the initial interaction with these scam actors forms the basis of their belief that everything in crypto is just a scam
