Yeah would love to up level to v2 but when @eliperelman looked into it, it seemed like frog/hono was not easily compatible so it would take a fairly significant amount of work Maybe someone can clarify otherwise but given low overall sustained frame usage and quickly changing standards, it’s hard to justify vs our core roadmap rn

Frames v2 are web apps. Since Icebreaker is already a web app, you should be able to add frame-compatible routes or put the whole app in a frame. Since you're using Privy for auth, it should be even easier. I'd wait until end of day today or early next week for those changes to land in Warpcast and Privy.

Check out this video for an idea of the minimal required changes to load your app in a frame. I think it's always better to design frame-specific experiences rather than drop your mobile webapp in a frame and leave it there, but this gives an idea of how the two coexist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Dc64u8JTu0

Our goal over the long run is for this to be *easier* to build and maintain alongside your app than using a special purpose framework + server like Frog and Hono.

This is great. The biggest blocker before was that there was no privy support and it was creating weird cases where users couldn't log in or were duplicating their accounts. If this works with an existing web app that uses privy to log in with farcaster (and we can force it automatically use farcaster), then I'm happy
