Yes this is also significantly better than using only a centralized issuer like LinkedIn

With centralized issuance, each current or former employee must go through the verification flow with the issuer. 

But with web of trust, a single employee can fill in an entire corporate trust network

Decentralized x trusted can propagate a network much faster and more completely.

Their reputation (and potentially employment at Google)

If more than 2 people they verify land in disputed status, their ability to endorse will be suspended along with all people downstream of them. 

We could do something fancier with AVS if we want quantifiable financial guarantees but pretty sure the reputation damage and potential for Google to open an investigation for fraudulently issuing verifications for $$ will be a strong disincentive

Curious how you prevent a low level employee from selling google.com verifications?
