Man, I wish it hadn't been 15 years since I lived there.  Depending on your jam, there are a million and one cool temples/shrines to explore.  I don't think I saw it mentioned yet so Ueno park on the northeast side of the central Tokyo train loop is beautiful and has a ton of great museums around it.
