post a long, short, or pair trade thesis about something in the world (no financial assets)

mine: long water sports, short snow sports. water sports (e.g. surfing) are centuries old and allow man to access the divine trifecta of sand, sea, and sun. climate change will make snow sports less viable

short moving to usa / big cities to chase career

long staying close to your parents & family

life is too short to spend the short overlap when your parents are healthy and you are a grown up adult to spend it grinding for an O1 in san francisco

(obv doesn't apply to americans)

Depends on circumstances I guess.  Lack of worthwhile opportunities and thirst for adventure pushed me to move halfway across the world.  Miss my family, but have lived a fascinating life full of experiences I never even dreamed were possible.
