Learned today the Joro spider has been making its way to the New York metropolitan region. Facts: -They’re MASSIVE. Flattened out leg span is 6-8 in -VENOMOUS but small fangs so can’t do much damage to humans/pets -Younger Joro spiders BALLOON, meaning they parachute through the air by silk from their abdomens

my wife has severe arachnophobia so this is great to hear I'll tell her they're all over the place outside so she'll go out less and it'll save money
