Animated PFP's are going away on Warpcast 😔 

This was a much loved feature, but caused crashes and performance issues for many Android users. There was no easy fix.  

If you have an animated pfp, we'll show it as a static image going forward.

As an android user, I would just say gimp android users if you can

Reducing the quality of the experience for your qDAU (iOS users) for worthless android DAU seems bad

I love this. 😂 Not the android hate, but that every comment here speaks to a personal preference and also a pragmatism of being a builder.

I'm an android user as well, I can't imagine it would be impossible to just disable it for Android users? But I get it they don't want the discrepancy between platforms

my iPhone 14 crashed more than my galaxy and my pixel... this is targeted Android hate 😭 (im sure the lower end androids are a nightmare, but then again my pixel 7a was $350)
