imo since moxie started, farcaster hasn't been the same for me. some people believe they are doing you a favor by just replying you or interacting with your account. some see your comment and they already feel you're interacting for moxie. the ease at which you get flagged as a spammer for simply commenting under people's post. the shift in what is described as "quality content".  i am not gonna lie, it all just sucks.  even as centralized as the other app is, you have to do insane spamming to be shadow-banned. some friends i introduced to this app have been speaking to the void ever since and never get any single interaction coz they lack power badge and the algorithm messes them up. this is not what decentralized social media is to me and sorry not sorry, this route isn't the best way to onboard the next million normies. censorship isn't it. but goodluck to everyone

Agree, I got a powerbadge quite early on somehow so was quite lucky. If I had to spend months shouting into a void before I was seen I think I probably would have given up quite early on. Moxie encourages the big accounts to post more but a weird dynamic where people I used to have conversations in the replies with don’t message back anymore because they think everyone is after their engagement.
