Confession time: I use a GUI for git — not because I don’t know how to use git but because visually being able to select chunks / files and create multiple atomic commits from a few hour’s work is sublime. 

Have I ever _needed_ my atomic commits? No. Still sublime though.

hahaha two times my mind was blown

first was someone showing me git cherry-pick within a git squash

second was a thread on X about 100s of one word commit messages in a row, and that same rebase wizard showing me his messages were all 'wip' followed by 'merge'
