been using mac for the first time in at least a year because my thinkpad is in service

some things are good: e.g. speakers, webcam

most things are terrible, how do you survive, devs?

i'm so eager to get back to linux, i feel so limited my macos

tl;dr - pretend the Mac is just a great piece of hardware and live inside the terminal. I try to never touch anything else

Don't use the app store. You only need the app store for xcode.

ofc i can install all this, but it's a unix system... where's my `identify` and `convert` in the terminal?

why does it take so long for the side appbar to come out?

why are all the animations so long?

why doesn't "delete" delete the files?

why can't i close finder with cmd+q but can other apps?

why does the autocomplete and spellchecker suck so much?

I miss my Linux so much. For now I'm just coping thanks to aerospace tiling window manager, werkzeug and my corner keyboard full of customizations.
