I feel like this gives long form a chance to real impact people without forcing them to leave their current experience

Big +1 on comparison to other social platforms.

At Substack, it really sucked when Twitter basically eliminated external linking and blew up all the bridges of traffic between Twitter <> Substack. It *really* harmed writers, especially those looking to make a living writing on the internet.

Twitter used to be the best place to discover long-form writing across the internet — now, no more.

And of course, similar dynamics have played out on every other large social / tech platform.

One of the reasons I'm really excited about onchain media & the FC + Paragraph integration in particular.
