There is a lot of discussion on Farcaster of getting more people to use Farcaster. I think it’s obvious that you should just invite people to use it. This is how I started using it. You need to target people who actually respect the platform and would take an interest in the community. They should come from all different backgrounds, but also shouldn’t have giant egos. They should be down to earth people who just like to post, share information, and interact. There already seems to be lots of tech people and VCs so there’s not an obvious point in further saturating the platform with this type of individual. There is a big world out there with all diverse types of people looking for a home. I believe its possible to build a community wherever the infrastructure works.

It’s not as easy as inviting people in. I helped a heap of artists get set up in here and most of them have left because their casts were invisible. There are a few factors that led to this for each of them but I would also say you’ve had a very different experience to most.

Yeah I found the same, but I wonder if that has improved with the removal of power badges? Makes it feel far less classist

I’ve heard mixed opinions about the power badges. Some who lost it saw very little difference and others lost a heap of interactions as well as frames and quote casts becoming tiny which is definitely classist in my opinion.
