My wife made a good point. Why don't movies have endings anymore? It's always ambiguous guesswork. Very rarely a real ending. "Make movies end again" is her new platform and I stand with her on that.

I think they like leaving the door open for a sequel, but that just reduces the satisfaction of a good story The best non-ending that was not a sequel was inception imo, with the wobble

think Nolan was trying to be too clever but def was an ending. Leo's emotional arc had been resolved and irrelevant if it fell or not
