It was unclear whether Milei was hacked or personally directed it but he later posted on X denouncing critics of the launch.

It’s too bad, because I feel like global economics in countries with traditionally hyper inflated fiat benefit most from crypto, so it almost seems worse for this type of behaviour in regions that would benefit the most 😔
