I've often been fascinated by how they decide these things too. I'm learning Portuguese and things are often the opposite of what I think they might be.

The worst is we have the same thing in Spanish/Castellano and for almost 90% of everything we are in sync between both language and then out of nowhere the French change it up on us 😂
