I admit to losing a lot of enthusiasm for it. I don't tip often and don't think about it, besides helping ppl navigate the myriad problems surrounding the game. I'm confident tipping game will become less lucrative and easier to control. I'm also confident in these new earning platforms (Alfa, Jam, Drak).

Once, my focus was on a young platform called Farcaster. Now, my focus will be on new Farcaster clients and adjacent experiences, like Alfa, Drak, Rekt, etc. Tipping will end someday. Be early. Be ready.

I don’t have tons of time to make a lot of posts, so my tip amount is 164 per day, which is a little frustrating because I try to make quality posts and be judicious about who I tip. It’s still cool imo.

Yes. Yes it is.. I am and will be forever grateful. Not many people get setup with an opportunity to start a small business, let alone with the intent of a PG, from an investment of under $100. This is why where some may see “wasteful spending”, I see “helping prop up the degen economy that has helped me”

Yes... 🫣 Maybe it's cuz I'm Gen-X and grew up in front of the tv, but I have a real skill for tuning out a ton of noise and this place is still WAY less noisy than the other social gigs out there. 😊

I try to give to good content, apps..but allo is small vs engagement farmers & it’s a lot of work. Permissionless $Degen tipping better be replaced by official tippers per channel + general. Originally wanted this to avoid bad UX & spam (farcaster & tipping algo fixed it), now to focus on quality & value tips more.

people get greedy even if its only about giving away free money. Combine that with low quality casters who don't receive any tips and get angry while others get rich off it and you have a cesspool
