Things I’ll say on farcaster but not on X: Some days NextJS feels like a massive top of funnel scam to get you locked in to Vercel only features. The amount of breaking changes and complexity to utility ratio seems very off with this project…

+1 on top of funnel, $5k paid in stupid overcharges. The problem is even larger b/c their serverless deployment infra pushes you to use many other PaaSes (want a db? — neon, redis? — upstash, websockets — …, etc.)

So unfortunate that Remix didn't gather enough momentum. I loved their "close to web standards" approach.
