Voting today in NYC kind of red-pilled me. No ID or proof of residency needed, no pic of me in their system, just name+address+signature, all of which plenty of people could find. Millions are victims of identity theft yearly. This is way easier. Should I vote for my brothers?

if you don't actually believe it's secure, go for it. Might get you arrested tho (fwiw i am not anti voter id laws, but i am p skeptical of significant fraud w/i the current system)

Fair, law is deterrent, but identity theft is very illegal too and happens a ton. Comes down to incentives. Is there any adversarial country thatโ€™d pay $1k/vote in swing counties? What about $500? Because Iโ€™m sure people would go vote for their siblings or friends abroad for $500
