quick question as someone who likes to know how things work! Upon smart wallet creation, i worry about how do i retain access to this wallet? i utilized a passkey via icloud, and it just "works". My Q is: from https://wallet-beta.coinbase.com/ how to i find/export the seed or private key to utilize it elsewhere?

I think the path would actually be to add a second signer that owns the wallet vs exporting a private key given it’s a 4337 wallet, but @wilsoncusack correct me if I’m wrong here

you can see your passkeys in your apple password manager but you can't export them. We will support adding a recovery EOA signer, which you can store the PK for.

ok, cool. so eventually - if PK is lost, another EOA can recover. im still lost for how the custody actually works, but maybe that's ok..? Im thinking in practical terms of composability across other wallet clients - ex: i want to import/utilize my AA wallet created in another wallet client

for the time being i believe you can't, but with EOA signers it should be theoretically possible (perhaps w a mm snap or something)

Yeah the passkey signer can’t be exported and imported elsewhere. With the EOA signer you could add the key material elsewhere, but doesn’t mean that client knows how to sign userOps and wrap in the way smart wallet expects. Longer term we’ll have session keys and some spec for adding 3p signers.
