i am assuming you mean physical tipping and not like degen tipping, in which case that feels much worse than subscriptions tbh. i feel in control of what i subscribe to, but feel obliged to tip whenever i see the option whether or not i want to

Subscription for me, but I don’t have compunctions about not tipping when I feel like the ask to tip is an over reach. But I am so tired of every single product being on a sub!

Not sure why this is only for US. I’m gonna answer it anyways 😂 I have 3 different sports subs, 5 others and definitely won’t sub for a 4th sports channel sub (even when they show my fav game - I’m going back to streaming like I’m 18 again) but might give another app a shot if it allows me to simply pay with one click (Apple Pay) but also not up to enter credit card details and more info anymore. With tipping, I can at least pick 0 when I’m annoyed - especially before food or coffee.

the thought of obligation to tip when I buy the weed from the new shining store that does 8m in sales at a single location, tipping before service is provided to me seems entitled and lazy on the business
