Even just notifications, would be great. I need to see the red dot there.
But yes, you can have other channel-related things too. The long channels list that doesn't fit in the left bar is more annoying than useful. They could go there.

the content of the page might need to be different than just notifications but high level i like it

i think i’d prefer it in manage channels personally
