I'm totally missing context here. Submit where? Via an API? How are scores normally submitted?

i’ve done mini games with score submissions onchain, people just use blockscout. i’ve done mini games with API calls, people just make direct API calls. only thing i know how to do is make the API calls painful (eg send each keystroke to server and calculate scores there) but that doesn’t seem fun to make
