score based off what metric? the people who’ve cheated at my other games have pretty good followings and seem nice and kind based off their posts

i’ve done mini games with score submissions onchain, people just use blockscout. i’ve done mini games with API calls, people just make direct API calls. only thing i know how to do is make the API calls painful (eg send each keystroke to server and calculate scores there) but that doesn’t seem fun to make

just anytime i make a game with a leaderboard some people spend more time figuring out how to submit a fake score than playing the game — the only way i know to fix it is to make the game more annoying for ALL users :/

The hell with leaderboards unless it's purely based off skill and not something they hold or buy.
