Elara faced a choice—risk annihilation or trust the unknown. She overrode Solace, steering toward Proxima. As they landed, vibrant jungles greeted them, but the crew’s thoughts began to blur, merging with an alien consciousness. Elara smiled, her empathy now infinite. They hadn’t escaped; they’d evolved.
