Generative Design – Julia Laub, 2010 This book documented an emerging scene of artists using a new wave of software(s), such as Processing and VVVV to create generative art. Aside from code examples (which are still relevant) it has large gallery section of artist works. Photo credits: Onformative

Sidenote: The second edition of this book was designed by the studio of two of my friends, Prof. Julia Kühne and Christian Schiller. I'm working closely with them on different web projects and we're currently developing a web app for self-hosted corporate design guidelines and asset libraries.

Nice manifestations of digital and real-world networks overlapping and interconnecting... I would say that there are a lot of these unseen interconnections going on among designers and practitioners of the gen art/design community.
