do $degen tips have the same value as sending $degen? I feel like they aren't, but wondering if it's explained anywhere

I think tips are simply summed up until the airdrop claim. So it should be the same amount of $DEGEN in the end. But you can add DEGEN you already own to a LP on Uniswap, which gives you further points towards airdrop 2.
